For our writing this term we are learning how to create poems rotarota or creative paragraphs. We get a new hook each day. Here are some of my pieces of writing. We are especially focusing on imagery and using our senses.

We have had a visitor in Rm3 called Matua Makaore. He has shared the story of Kupe me Te Wheke ā muturangi with us. We also learnt how to animate using Google slide.

One day, I was going to fly my kite at the beach with my family. The kite is blue with a picture of a huge rat on it.

All of a sudden, the wind stopped blowing so I got really mad. I was thinking about walking further down the beach, because I could see some trees swaying back and fourth. When I got there my kite flew really high, I was glad again. I can’t wait to wake up in the morning because my family and I are staying at our bach on the beach. I am going to have another fun day flying my kite.

One day there was this video game. I was the first to find the game it was found in Sydney. I started to play the game it was amazing I could not stop playing.

A years later he started to stop.

But something happened the game came alive.
they were red, blue, yellow and green.
The game was going to hunt me. they destroy Sydney All the people went so fast as a cheetah.

I had to stop them I remembered in the game they hate water
I got my hose and I wet all of them and they melted....
